Auto-assignment of tickets by ticket Type (Ticket Plus Module)

Hello everyone!

I’m pleased to announce the release of version 3.1.0 of the "Ticket Plus + Helpdesk + AI Chatbot " module, now available on Dolistore.

New featured functionality

The update introduces a significant improvement in ticket management:

  • it is now possible to link specific USER GROUPS to each TICKET TYPE (bug, commercial support, others, etc.).
  • the system will automatically assign new tickets on a ROTATING basis among the members of the corresponding group.

Requirements to implement this feature

  • Groups are configured from Dolibarr’s native user management
  • Ticket types are defined in the corresponding Dolibarr dictionary

Then on this module’s settings you can optionally assign user group to each type of ticket:

And then, when a external visitor of the public HelpDesk choose the type of ticket then module TicketPlus will assign the corresponding user of the corresponding internal user group:

This new functionality emerged from one of our users’ suggestions. As a development policy, when proposed improvements benefit the entire community, I offer to share development costs. In this specific case, the development (4 hours) was shared 50% with the requesting client.
