I created a Sales Order -> Invoice -> 2 Payments. but I found my client didn’t pay to my bank so I deleted the payment from Bank Entries. Now my invoice has 2 paid entries but no real payment item in bank. I cannot add the payment back and I cannot delete the payment record in invoice. I cannot delete the invoice either. Any suggestions for this case?

where did you delete the payment ?
I tried it myself in my testdatabase. I created two payments in an invoice and deleted one (in the invoice via the basket-icon). The payment was gone in the invoice and in the bank account as well and the deleted amount was shown as open in the invoice.
I use version 13.0.0
I delete bank payment record from Bank Entries.
but I cannot delete the Payment. It said "Can’t remove payment since there is at least one invoice classified paid.
I am using version 12.0.4. Do you think upgrade to 13.0.0 will help? Is 13.0 will fix?

i just use version 13.0.0 on my testsystem and 13.0.1 on my live system. I didn’t use version 12 so far. Hence i don’t know if it may solve the problem. Anyway it is a good idea to update to the latest stable version. And i can admit that 13.0.1 is running fine.
But - save your current database before you update !

No, it does not work even in 13.0.1. But I found out why it does not work now. Since I used a down payment invoice, which becomes a deposit. I need to delete it from downpayment first. Then now I can delete the payment.
OK, I found out the reason. If the invoice status is “Paid”, then you cannot delete payment. You need to “Re-open” the invoice before you can delete the payment.
Also, another case that I cannot do payment is if you did the payment together with another invoice before, you need to delete the payment from another invoice before you can delete this payment and invoice.
