Can someone please tell me how to configure the TakePOS module to scan part of a barcode with weight in it, it is for a butchery shop, i have tried to configure the (Barcode rule to insert product) but i seem to not get it working. tell me the steps to register a product and define the rule for that field, my weighing machine is printing EAN13 barcode.

I am not sure that this functionnality is present in the core of dolibarr.
I have found this external module that seems to fit your requirement on the dolistore : Advanced Barcodes for TakePOS
