I think we get too much spam here in this forum, and it’s been going on for a while :-/

How can we do something about it?

I fully agree, it’s almost a denial of service attack, we are experiencing here in the English forum.

Unfortunately, I’m only moderator on this forum with very limit rights : I just keep deleting this topics one by one…

Only @eldy or @jtraulle are admin and may be can do these kinds of things.

The other alternative is to forbid new users, but it’s a bit “radical”

Thanks for your work.

I tried helping by flagging those as spam a few weeks back but some rule restricted the number of actions on my side…

I just checked and in French forum are many “active” admins and moderators

@eldy Please increase the number of moderators

Was there something done to combat this, in the way of “users have to do XYZ,” before they can create new topics? I just signed up today, and can’t figure out how to do it. I can reply to others I guess, but not create new ones.

I also can’t figure out how to get certified or licensed. Are there directions somewhere I’m missing?
