How do you link a sales order to a purchase order?

We have a sales order (SO) for customer. We were out of stock for the items so we had to issue a purchase order (PO) as well. In the SO we would like to make an internal link to the PO so we can directly see the connection between the two but Dolibarr will not let us do this. It only is possible to link between the same third party.

Is there any way to link SO/PO between two different parties (customer and vendor)?

Hello, you cant do it through the linked files section? add it as a url maybe? you never specified your version so i’m playing guessing games.

Hi. Sorry; v14.0.3 (I have edited post).

I did not know we could use using Linked File / URL. Tried that right now and it works as expected, the PO is shown together with all other links on the bottom.
