How to add Sub-BOMs?

In v16 sub-boms are introduced. I cannot figure out a way to use them. Can you lead me?

Hello,

did you set the variable BOM_SUB_BOM to 1 under home->settings->others? This is required to activate the feature.

When activated you will see in your BOM a menu where you can either add a product or a BOM

this is giving issues in v17

we are not able to modify the list after adding BOM
