How to Merge Orders in Dolibarr? Need Assistance!

Hello everyone,

I’m having trouble managing orders in Dolibarr, and I hope someone can help me figure this out.

Here’s my situation:

  • I have two separate projects in Dolibarr.
  • Each project has two orders.
  • Each order contains two products from two different suppliers.

To summarize:

  • Project 1:
    • Order 1: Product A (Supplier X) and Product B (Supplier Y).
    • Order 2: Product C (Supplier Z) and Product D (Supplier W).
  • Project 2:
    • Order 1: Product E (Supplier X) and Product F (Supplier Y).
    • Order 2: Product G (Supplier Z) and Product H (Supplier W).

I’d like to merge the orders, either by supplier or using a logic that simplifies the management process, but I’m not sure how to do this in Dolibarr.

Does Dolibarr offer any functionality or module that can handle order merging? If so, could you please guide me on how to set it up or use it?

AFAIK there is no such functionality standard available.
For a customer I build a batch-function which combines orders to one purchase order.
Maybe this can help you also.

I would think that external module restock, determination of quantities to order and creation of supplier orders
can fit your need.
