New Thunderbird add-on connected to Dolibarr: Free and Open Source

Hello everyone,

I’d like to inform you that we have released a free and open-source Thunderbird add-on for Dolibarr.

This project is still in development, but it may be of interest to other users. The module enhances email interactions by automatically searching for related objects (quotes, orders, etc.) based on the contacts associated with the email address.

It also allows you to quickly create a third party in Dolibarr from an email.

Feel free to share your feedback or contribute to the code!

What about these features?

  • make email a ticket in Dolibarr
  • make email an intervention in Dolibarr
  • configuring the Address Book in Thunderbird to use Thirdparties, Contacts and/or Members from Dolibarr

Does this add-on work with SeaMokey as well?

For SeaMokey I dont know because i don’t use it, Sorry.

For the other suggestions, why not? Since the module is open-source, it will evolve based on needs and contributions from the community.
I think those are great options.

If you want to configuring the Address Book, it’s already possible with module CardDav.
