I have this strange issue as you can see in the picture, maybe you can help explain, probably has to do with some setting in my Firefox browser or else I don’t know
i can seem to represent on screen any word correctly that has an accent in it
When the italian translation was made, language files were in ISO-8859-1 format (all other languages were UTF-8).
So we convert italian files to UTF-8 (Goal is having eveything in UTF-8)
but conversion was not correct and now (with 2.7.0) some language files for it_IT contains lines in ISO and some in UTF-8.
I fixed a lot of this files in last CVS version but there is still errors in 2.7.0.
Solution to fix is long (open language file with an editor that can edit UTF-8 files, then correct bad characters, then save as UTF-8). And this for each file.
Murphy’s law says that all serious pb are concentrated on it_IT (not lucky). Sorry. Reason is that we have a lot of user for spanish, dutch, french and other languages but few for italian; so this problem was not viewed during the beta of 2.7.
I hope a better result to “open” more massively the italian market with 2.7.1…
You can do it yourself.
Download cvs version of dolibarr and get all files into htdocs/langs/it_IT/*.lang and put then into same directory of your production version.
It’s only language files so it is safe.
