Problems with an Umlaut in the delivery note

Hi. I have a problem with the pdf when creating a delivery note in German.
At the end of the standard pdf there are 2 fields for the signature. One for the company and one for the client.
The problem is that instead of “Für” with an “ü” the text is shown as “Für”.
Looks like an UTF-8 problem, but the “Umlaute” are shown correctly in other PDF’s so it’s not in the database.
I found a work around by modifying the translation for the keys “For” and “ForCustomer” but that is not a valid solution.
Could anybody help be to know how I can fix this?

I am not an php expert. Where could I change the font then? In other documents the special characters are shown fine.

Hi,
in my case the Security Setting MAIN_RESTRICTHTML_ONLY_VALID = 1 made a lot of Problems with Umlaute.
