Romanian invoice characters showing ????

Hello,
first of all thank you for this beautiful software.

I have been trying to use dolibarr for my company, and i was unable to print an invoice without getting a ?? where the Romanian characters ăîâșț should be.
i have tried:

  1. changing the font from www\dolibarr\htdocs\langs\ro_RO
  2. copied the last files from TCPDF - it didnt do anything
  3. http://demo.dolibarr.org/compta/facture.php?facid=207 ----- still the same problem (file anexed)

Please help.

Hello schili01,

Try to put the below main.lang file in your language ro_RO

And try again.

Those characters are in UTF-8 need DejaVuSans font to appear correctly in pdf files.

Hello,

I have the same problem, characters with ???, i replace the file main.lang ndrosis said, but no result.
I laso have this issue in dolibar meniu, when I make a new customer , regiouns have ???characters, please see picture below:

Strange is that the fact, in upper dolibarr meniu look good, but on pdf.invoice and customer regioun popup list not .

I see that the solution is not posted, so here it is:
In the Settings > Other Settings, add this:
Name
MAIN_PDF_FORCE_FONT
