When using Swedish as a customer language in v17, creating an order pdf (or any pdf, I imagine) the title of the column really messes the look up. As in my picture, “försäljningsskatt” (litt. sales tax) is also called moms (VAT) as seen on the right. “Styckepris” (litt. piece price) could also be shortened to “pris”.
Where are these translations made, and how can I change them globally (will set up MultiCompany since our v10 installation uses it)?
Second way of doing it (but not preferred) is I think, to widen the columns?
you can adjust the translations locally on your system under home → setup → translations.
The official translations are managed with an online service called transifex where you can request an account. Deatils about this can be found here: Translator documentation - Dolibarr ERP CRM Wiki
Any participation would be much appreciated. Just one warning: sometimes the same translations are used in several places and what seems to be an improvement in one place might adversely affect other usages. However, the column headers are problematic also in other languages since the space is really small.
Thank you Joachim, this is exactly what I needed. The current translations to Swedish seem a bit by-the-book stiff, försäljningsskatt is indeed sales tax, but never or rarely used as a word in Swedish.
